Dr. Veihdeffer has been a licensed, practicing general dentist since 1981 and an active member of the dental community.

Community Outreach:
Dr. Bill proudly treats our Veterans of the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Erie and also the students in the Erie School District who require dental examination. He is a volunteer at Saint Paul’s Neighborhood Free Dental Clinic. Dr. Bill also routinely does PA military screenings for the Army and the Navy.
Dr. Bill’s daughter, Christy was our registered dental hygienist from 2006 until 2013. Christy graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Division of Dental Hygiene where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. In addition, she completed a rural externship and community outreach program in Sutton, WV. Christy is a member of the ADHA. She also volunteered at St. Paul’s Neighborhood Free Dental Clinic, was involved annually in Give Kid’s a Smile Day, and helped provide military screenings for the Army and the Navy. She has since moved to Chicago where she continues to practice dental hygiene and is a sales consultant for Johnson and Johnson.
The current full time dental staff includes Diane as office manager, Ashley as dental assistant, and Rachael as our dental hygienist.
| The adult dentition consists of 32 teeth. This includes (four) third molars a.k.a. wisdom teeth. It is common to have the 3rd molars extracted leaving the adult compliment to be 28 teeth. All 3 of Dr Bill’s daughters had their wisdom teeth removed. When signing emails to his daughters when they were away at college, Dr. Bill concluded with “keep your 28 clean” to remind them to brush their teeth. =) |
